I picked up this book because I really liked Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. I found this one disappointing in comparison—not terrible, but not great. The main characters are not nearly as likable as those in Nick and Norah, and I also found the narrative style not as compelling—the book is told in chapters with different narrators, including some pretty tangential characters. This works in some places but in others it really doesn’t.
