Agreed! The philadelphia story is far superior. Even if you like musicals, the songs in this movie are pretty terrible.

if you like Bing, watch it for that – but otherwise, skip and move directly to Hepburn & Grant’s ‘Philadelphia Story’

NOT WORTH CONSUMING
OK as a showcase for Crosby’s and Sinatra’s singing, but the music really doesn’t add anything to the story, and Crosby seems too likeable for his role. See the original instead with Grant, Stewart and Hepburn.
