WORTH CONSUMING!
a beautiful story, of a girl who goes through a series of foster homes after her mother murders her boyfriend. I recommend reading both the novel and the movie.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING
I hope the book’s a more in-depth and less black-and-white exploration of the themes the audience is so clumsily whacked over the head with in this film version of the story. The movie was a bit of a snore-fest.

WORTH CONSUMING!
If you enjoyed the movie then I suggest that you read the book. The book is A LOT better…though the movie is amazing.
