WORTH CONSUMING!

The night after I saw this movie with my boyfriend, he had a show in North Hollywood. We were looking for the street the show was on and passed by Radford and my boyfriend started quoting the movie all of a sudden. I had no idea what he was talking about since I’d just seen the movie, and he has a habit of talking in quotes anyway. After his show, we went to the In-N-Out from the movie, just to say we had. And we drove down Radford street hoping to pass the house the kid lived in. But we got bored after a couple of blocks and went home. It was kind of cool though. It was my first In-N-Out experience and hopefully my last North Hollywood experience.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is probably the funniest movie made – sadly under appreciated though!! It manages to achieve the remarkable, in that it becomes even funnier with repeated viewings. Jeff Bridges – always excellent – turns in an Oscar worthy performance (but of course, movies like this don’t win Oscars), and the supporting cast all do a brilliant job too.

I’d give this movie 10 out of 10!

WORTH CONSUMING!

If you are a Jeff Bridges fan it is a must see, and John Goodman is great in this. It is rated one of the top 50 films to see. I think this is a film that every guy should see, but yet being female I was in hysterics laughing the first time I saw it. After you see this you will never think of white russians and rugs in the same way again!

WORTH CONSUMING!

The funniest movie (well, along with The Life of Brian!) I think I’ve ever seen!!!

So quotable, so quirky, so funny…

Movie perfection, in my book! :)

Underwhelmed — 2 years ago

The premise gave me high hopes for a wonderfully quirky movie a la BETTER OFF DEAD or RAISING ARIZONA but it never materialized. It was an OK one time watch but I don’t think it’ll grace my DVD player again.
