NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I had to give up watching this movie (I did try though). I hated the animation and got motion sickness watching this. I tried watching – or erm, following – with my eyes closed but that was just too stupid. From what I did catch it wasn’t good enough to keep me interested anyway, so I decided to do something else with my time. Might try this again later.

WORTH CONSUMING!

whoa.

I had to look up what “rotoscope animation” was, interesting bit of knowledge, and that was before the movie even started.

I found this film rather more thought forcing than provoking and felt a brief nostalgia for my teenage years when I would have watched something like this absolutely stoned out of my fucking gourd.

I’m glad I own it because I’m certain it needs at least another couple of spins.

wow. That animation is amazing. I absolutely loved the thought provoking attitude of it all. This is one of those movies you can enjoy sober or otherwise. Also, for those of you who don’t know, this movie had the same directors as “Dazed and Confused.” I thought that was pretty interesting.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Nothing earth-shattering in this movie if you have been exposed to philosophy somewhat. Still worth watching.

By the way, the dialog between Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy on people solving yesterday’s crossword puzzle faster because thousands of other people had solved it already, is bullshit. Rebuttal at http://www.mindhacks.com/blog/2007/01/waking_life_crosswor.html

WORTH CONSUMING!

I think for most people you either love it and find it though provoking or think it is pretentious and over rated.

I wish I owned the movie, I have it on my computer which means I can’t share it with anyone and I can’t seem to get it to burn on to a disk. Bummer.

Amazing. — 6 years ago

Be sure to wacth this movie when you are fully awake and unimpared.

Also watch it with people so you can talk about it afterwards.

Whenever I watch this movie I get in a mood where I can talk for hours about abstract ideas and emotions.

Even if you cannot appreciate the dialog the graphics are so beautiful.

WORTH CONSUMING!

This is probably one of my favourite movies. It brings about so many questions. Watch it from beginning to end without any stops, preferably alone, or at least with someone who isn’t going to talk through it. Trust me, you’ll have a lot to discuss after you’ve watched it.

How this changed my life — 7 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

This movie has made me want to think more, converse more, dream more & basically live! more. This is one of the only movies I own because it’s the only movie I ALWAYS recommend to EVERYONE.
