Loved it when I was a kid, and did not find it cheesy now that I am an adult. Watched it with my own kids, and they loved Falcor the flying dragon dog and want to watch it over and over again. Seems shorter now that I’m an adult though. I was preparing myself for a 3 hour excursion. :)

This is one of the movies of my childhood, along with the Labrynth and Grease. I’m afraid to watch it now, because I’ll probably find it cheesy.

i watched this movie over and over and over when i was a kid, and i haven’t seen it since then. i’d like to watch it now and see what i think of it as a grown-up person. when i was a small person, a few parts were so scary i had to cover my eyes or fast-forward. some parts were so so so sad. and of course some parts were exhilarating and joyous. i wonder if i would feel so connected & involved now?

ps: the neverending story II was absolutely terrible. i do remember that much. i never saw the neverending story III, and never will.

Definitely an 80’s film. Could have been a little better, but still an enjoyable tale.
