Without thinking I now sing Bowie in Portuguese.

I had a large costume ball (2000 people} to attend. I did not have a costume. Two days before I found two aluminum bubble wrap bags that they freeze a ton block salmon in on the factory ships. Using hot glue and mat knife I turned this into a shark costume. During the night I would stick a leg, an arm, or my head in an orange stocking cap out of the mouth. But mainly I was going for the “jump the shark” metaphor.

I was immediately attacked by at least 50 members of Team Zissou, some in the jumps suits, some in the Spedos and forced to dance with them for the rest of the night.

Another excellent, surreal, dark comedy from Wes Anderson.

Not much more to say about it except that the scoring was brilliant.

mediocre film, despite the extra bits (i.e. stop motion and fanciful sets which bouyed this film.)
