I was a fan of the first. Hugh Grant and Colin Firth, they are fantastic. If I watched it now I don’t know if I would be able to get through it. You’ve got these wonderful guys who are ridiculous, and attractive and messed up and than this painfully obnoxious and socially retarded woman. The sequel continues on in this vane and is totally unbarable. I had to create my own plot which involves Bridget being fantastic in the sack and pretty much willing to do just about anything in order to believe that anyone would want to have anything to do with her. She is so frustratingly self involved, and has zero redeeming characteristic and yet she is supposed to repersent the average woman. This kils me. The writing and plot is so bad. Lesbian twists and thai prisons the film becomes as obnoxious as it’s heroine. She is so boring and stupid.

I’d agree that it’s not as good as the first one. Some of the characters got on my nerves even more in this film. But, on the plus side, there were some funny moments, even once which I laughed out loud (which doesn’t happen very often). So, I found it worth watching, but probably only if you’re a fan of this sort of thing anyway.
