Pretty horses and nice scenery and everything… But could he say ‘partner’ any more often?

WORTH CONSUMING!

Really good movie set in the late 1800s about a part-Native American cowboy named Frank Hopkins who struggled with his heritage. The movie was really more about his horse Hidalgo, though, who was a wild mustang, untamed by Frank, but was still the fastest horse around. Frank and Hidalgo entered many long distance race competitions and Hidalgo always won. Some Arabs heard of this and claims being made that Hidalgo was the world’s fastest horse and they were irritated about it because they thought only a purebred Arabian horse could possibly be the fastest. They invited Frank and Hidalgo to enter into a 3000 mile race across the Arabian desert if they were going to continue claiming Hidalgo was the fastest. Frank took him up on the offer and the rest of the movie is about that.
