WORTH CONSUMING!

I had really low expectations for this one, so I was pleasantly surprised to find the movie enterataining. The plot was weak, the battle scenes were very cool and will adpapt nicely to the inevitable video games. I loved the young and agile Yoda.

WORTH CONSUMING!

It was a lot better than I expected. Then again, I had such low expectations after episode 2 that a South Park marathon would have seemed brilliant, inspiring, and witty in comparison.

Still, somebody besides George obviously had a hand in the script. It went from the ludicrousness of 1 and 2 to being a little ham-fisted but acceptable. I would even be willing to watch it again.

WORTH CONSUMING!

It’s not perfect. It’s not brilliant. What it is is an eye-opening conclusion / link to the greatest trilogy of films ever made. It fills in the blanks, sets the future in motion and is visually spectacular. It’s everything I wanted Episode III to be.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I only force choke you because I love you.

Best quote for an incredibly mediocre movie. George really lost it.

This was the reason Episodes I & II exist. The first half of the movie had me revelling in the presence of real acting – Ewan Macgregor makes up for the stiltedness of Episode II, and I understand now what Obi Wan means in Episode V when he describes Anakin as his best friend. For me, though, it all started to fall apart after Anakin turns to the dark side. The fear and paranoia that would have been required to tip him over the edge were just not adequately portrayed for me to truly believe in. The number of cliches that are thrown around in this movie is ludicrous (remember when Anakin finds out Padme is dead? “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”!). But, I plan to watch this again, and attempt to understand what Lucas meant, even though I do not believe he achieved it. This was a master of a story, after all.

The game isn’t bad, especially if you suck at video games like me. Keeps me thinking about the tragedy of it all.

I realize I’m in the minority, but I found the movie boring because we already knew the outcome.

There isn’t that much I have to add to it than what all ready has been said by tons of people.
I been wanting to see this since it came out….especially since I been reading the great reviews….I guess if you compare the last two it is a big deal.
The “Big Screen” experience I could do with out. As I get older I am becoming more easily annoyed at the rude insensitive whisperers in the movie theater. It doesn’t matter how low you whisper I can still hear you and you are distracting. What ever…
Anyways, regardless of this annoyance I managed to enjoy myself and I am so totally glad we went to see it. I had tons of favorite scenes and totally made up for the boring dialogue between Padmé and Anakin.
You should watch it, if you haven’t all ready…..and forget all the hype about being political…see it for what is worth. The end of a saga.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Went with some fellas from the band while on tour in Phoenix, AZ. I felt abused after this flick - too much visual noise for me. I’m still a fan of Empire Strikes Back - but there was a lot more meet on them bones.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Awesome. The battle between Anakin and Obi-Wan at the end almost made me cry, which would have been far too embarrassing for words. And still, I found it impossible to side against Anakin, even after the whole younglings business. Hayden Christensen is just too delicious to hate, evil or not. Really, the evilness only made him all the better.
