one of my favorite movies.
The sewers scene is so… ugh! Gross.
I felt sorry for Brooke.
This is a Stephen King book? Wow, really? I thought he’s mostly the suspense/thriller type of writer.

The first time I saw this was on TV years ago. I had missed the first few minutes, and after it was over I went right ahead and watched it all over again as it was being repeated. I enjoyed it that much. Have seen it numerous times since.

Great movie. I only found out from a friend in the past month or so that this is steven king. Sometimes, in life you just miss things. I was 9 before I found out that funny word bologna and that meat product in the fridge (which apparently I never read the label on) are the same thing….
You’d have to have seen the movie to know what I’m talking about here…
I work in a library, and everytime I see “The Count of Monte Cristo” on the shelves I laugh to myself….

When I was watching this movie I kept thinking, “I know how this ends…” Took me a while to figure out it’s a story from a Stephen King book!

Great acting from Morgan Freeman and Tim Robbins, and characters you can care about and even root for.
