Since I was a kid, it’s been my favourite film to date. It impacted me while watching it for the first time and that memory stays with me still.

WORTH CONSUMING!
Lions and tigers and bears—oh my! The only problem with watching this film on television every year that they showed it while I was growing up is that—well, it was on television. Now, when I watch it on DVD, I keep looking for the commercials to come in at all the places where they used to put commercial breaks.
A brilliant film, especially for its day. Just a trivia—the tornado sequence was created by King Vidor, who says he got his inspiration from surviving the hurricane of 1900 in his boyhood home on Winnie Street in Galveston, TX.
