WORTH CONSUMING!
Excellent acting and a poignant story put this 2002 TNT made-for-TV movie a cut above the norm. The casting alone was deserving of an award (indeed, it was nominated for an Emmy). William H. Macy and Helen Mirren shine, as do Kathy Baker and Kyra Sedgwick. It’s the tale of door-to-door salesman Bill Porter, who never lets his disabilities caused by cerebral palsy or doors slammed in his face stand in his way to success. Uplifting. Dramatic. Well worth a watch.
