Not bad…I mean I raptly watched the whole thing, but truly the clothes and the city were the draw and the story was less interesting. Fact is, the short segments really suited the show and they hit harder. Trying to create a whole arc was maybe just too much. I also have to say it felt less edgy and a lot more mainstream. I know they were trying to hit a whole new audience (that doesn’t have HBO) but it did seem watered down.

I was scared to see the film because I’m such a huge fan of the series. My biggest complaint of the movie is that it’s long. Otherwise, SATC is still the best portrayal of women and their friendships for 30+. The writers gave the stars so much to work on with their characters, it’s no wonder that everyone came back for the movie and now a sequel.

Not as bad as I thought it would be. On par with the Bridget Jones Sequel.
