A deceptively simple concept, hard-core shoot ‘em up action, lovely graphics – the Wii needed a “simple” shooter like this. Very addictive, and guaranteed to get your adrenalin pumping. It can be played with the classic controller, which feels very much like playing Robotron: 2084 (if you know this game, you are getting old), or alternatively with the remote and nunchuk. Surprisingly, this works really well. Co-op and versus two player modes complete this little gem.

If you’re up for a little bit of retro gaming in a shiny new jacket (and what a pretty jacket it is), then do yourself a favor and buy this one.
