WORTH CONSUMING!

This morbid love story is a nice little gem. It’s quirky and illogical, and I liked it all the same. The highlight for me? Tom Waits in a real role—not just cameo and not just caricature of himself. Watch it if you’d like to see if he can act.

Based on this movie…

Do only white people kill themselves?

(With the exception of one Arabic speaking cab driver.)

I would have liked this movie a lot more if I hadn’t seen an almost identical movie last year called Purgatory House. This story was a little better because it wasn’t written by a 13-year-old, but it was still kind of blah. Nothing special except the scenery as they drive through the desert. I added 1 whole star just because Patrick Fugit is in it.
