In Costa Rica, you can get fresh coconut water (agua de coco). The street vendors by the beaches and on the side of the roads sell fresh coconuts. They chop off the tops with machetes right there and stick a straw in it.
Fresh coconut water is delicious and refreshing, especially on a hot day at the beach.
