WORTH CONSUMING!
A simple story about how a young boy meets a young girl in a Swedish 70’s suburb. He’s bullied in school, she’s a vampire. Visually very appealing, giving the Swedish winter a warm huddle, but at the same time it’s fair to say the film is flawed as far as tempo and plot is concerned. At first I was quite taken by the film, but having dissected it a bit, it’s not all that. Visually very appealing with great sound, but in the end, the film doesn’t hold up very well.
