A question I have about this — 1 year ago
How are the aliens suddenly multiplying so fast? In Alien it took the better part of a day for one to grow and emerge from a human body, in Aliens they had been breeding for weeks in order to acquire such numbers. In this movie it seems to take them about 15 minutes to explode from pregnant women’s uteruses en masse. Totally unbelievable.
When they come upon the stoned employees in the gun store (who gets stoned at work after hours?) the men say that it’s not worth dying over $6.25 an hour; the minimum wage in Colorado is $6.85. How do a few aliens and a predator sneak up on so many people without anyone noticing… it’s like they left a door open or something.
Is it really practical for the roof of a hospital to be so conjested with cages and pumps and difficult to navigate? How do the emts normally get the patients inside?
This could be any alien movie, they broke the rules that were already in place, there isn’t one character who is the heroine, there was no reason to call this Aliens. i’m not as familliar with the Predator genre, but this film doesn’t seem to fit that as well, either. This guy sucks as a hunter and how in the universe he is supposed to deal with this outbreak alone, i do not know. He should have called for reinforcements. And what is the deal with skinning the cop? Totally unnecessary to the plot. And suddenly it’s the U.S. government that’s the enemy? All this time i thought it was the Company.
