finished, a tad late, as usual. i still am in agreement with my previous entry. it’s an ok book. parts were tedious, parts were semi exciting, and parts were just there. i found myself liking the character of; i can’t even remember her name besides mrs. lang, adam’s wife, never a good sign. either way wasn’t my favorite book club selection, but it was far from the worst. storyline picks up when the ghost writer decides to go investigate how all the pieces fit together. the atmosphere of the book i thought was well done. i felt like i was in martha’s vineyard during the winter. had a cold, blah vibe that was picked up throughout.

this is our october’s book club book. so far it’s an ok book. it reads well and is semi interesting, yet i can’t bring myself to really like it. we’ll see how it turns out.
