It had been at least a year since I read vol. 1 and boy did I wish I had re-read it before this one. While this was a good series, I was very lost. I don’t remember Luthor poisoning Sups, I don’t remember Samson, and woh the heck is Quintim?
Also, I did not like the Bizarro issue and that won an award for 2008’s best issue?! Good grief.
The climax was awesome, and the 3rd to last page is something I would love to have a framed print of.
Still without vol. 1 handy, I was lost and did not enjoy this series as much as I could have!
