I watched this set in a matter of days. You can’t help but laugh at all the characters. Okay, so I wish they’d tone down the sex, but that’s my only complaint.

Fantastically awkward characters, great humour, this series is just so amusing! Jim Parsons makes an awesome performance as Sheldon Cooper, his inability to recognise and act in social situations is beyond hilarious. Simon Helberg is actually rather cute as Howard Wolowitz, even though his character is pitiful with a disgusting imagination… and I actually know someone who is much like him in real life. Good god, and I thought Howard was cute. Well, I still do, he’s cute in a sort of weird, unconventional way. :P

What I like most about the Big Bang Theory is that it feels authentic, the characters aren’t too over-the-top but still clearly anything but “normal”. And even though the episodes make fun of the geeky lifestyle of Sheldon, Leonard, Howard and Raj, they do it in a mild and loving way, without judgement or pointing fingers. I like that. :)
