Jean-Luc Godard is an important filmmaker and an acquired taste. I always find something interesting in his films and he seems to constantly challenge himself and the audience. With For Ever Mozart he moves through ideas about art, war, music and how we treat each other as human beings and cinema, always cinema. Godard is engaged as a filmmaker and I’m glad that there are filmmakers who challenge the medium outside of the studio system and carefully tested and marketed films.
