You really need to know the original horror movies (watched them, or at least know something about the plot) to enjoy this movie. The jokes were predictable but I found this movie enjoyable as I enjoy horror movies and a movie making fun of horror movies in a way it doesn’t offend… fantastic.

a parody of some movies. not just horror movies. stupid but kinda funny. too many sexual reference. a lot of physical slapstick.

I was on a trip and wanted to take my boyfriend to the drive-in. There was one nearby and he had never had the drive-in experience. So you don’t get a choice of what’s playing. The fact that the experience was fun probably made the movie seem less horrible.

Yes, it was STUPID. But it was FUNNY. Which is more than I can say for a lot of “better” movies that I’ve seen lately. The fact that they were trying to make you laugh every 10 seconds means that even though they failed 3 or 4 out of five times, you might still laugh a lot. Especially if you’re accompanying someone around 13 who will enjoy it profusely and it rubs off on you.

Plus, I love it when people make fun of Tom Cruise and I’ve also always loved Debra Wilson’s Oprah.
