I have read loads of travel books. This one sticks out in my mind as being one of my favorites that people can relate to on many levels.

Not only did this pair of brothers leave it all behind and set off to explore the world, their relationship, and their past, they also inspire the reader to learn more about the world first hand.

This is a very honest memoir filled with fascinating stories from many countries around the world. Suddenly he makes getting ditched before his wedding day sound like a blessing.

I have been on a travelouge kick the past couple months. Perhaps with the upcoming trip to Alaska I want to boost my appetite for adventure, even though we’re going the cushy route (cruise) and all the adventures will have a guide, I like hearing about other people’s adventures and mishaps. It gives me courage to think maybe I can do it, too.
