WORTH CONSUMING!

Ugh, I’m too old for this crap, but I couldn’t resist finishing the novel despite a severe case of eye sprain. It’s simply too deliciously soap opera-esque!

Yep – stayed up all night to finish Book 2 just 24 hrs after completing Book 1. What’s wrong with me?

WORTH CONSUMING!

This was the third time I’ve read New Moon, and I’m happy to say that as loyal as I am to Team Edward, I really didn’t hate Jacob all that much this time around. I really am starting to feel bad for him, more than actually being mad at him. Of course, now when I re-read Eclipse, I’m sure all that hatred will come back.

Couldn't put it down — 23 weeks ago

I bought my 8 year old daughter “Twighlight”. She started it. I wanted to read it for appropriateness but she had it, so I grabbed “new Moon”. My daughter gave me a hard time for reading out of order, but I just ignored her and plowed on. Very engaging series. I was worried about gore, but it turned out to be very low. Might be a bit racy for 8 years old, but not as bad as even some Disney movies I have seen. Read it in three days. Very engaging and good for all ages. I rate 4 of 5 stars.

WORTH CONSUMING!

but I love these books! It’s a little embarrassing because I’m almost 36 years old. My sister that teaches middle school told me all of the kids are reading them. LOL I think Stephanie Meyer does a good job of creating a female protagonist that is someone easy to relate to. She thinks that she is just a normal, awkward person that no one else would be remotely interested in. So when she does have interest shown, she is so surprised and so ready to believe that it won’t last. My heart went out to her and what she dealt with in this 2nd book of the Twilight series. Most of the time when I start reading a book that starts a sequel by the time I finish it I don’t care to read the next book for awhile. But I was chomping at the bit to get to this one, and I’ve got 2 more to read now! But I do have to read some other books before I get to Eclipse. So, give it a try, but you must read Twilight first.
