An occasional chuckle or two but nothing I’d ever need to buy.

If you’ve seen DODGEBALL, this is basically the same type of premise and jokes (ping-pong instead of dodgeball and “underground” tournaments instead of obscure sports channels) but most of them aren’t as funny.

Rarely does Walken seem wasted but he is here….

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

Bad, I pity Patton Oswalt for even appearing in it. I could count the laughs on one hand. If I spent the time on the toilet with bloody diarrhea, I would have enjoyed that more than this.

A story about this — 1 year ago

Based on the trailers, I had expected more of this. It’s essentially a martial arts movie with ping pong substituted for kung fu. A few of the scenes are LOL level, but the chuckles don’t resound throughout. Echoes of Bruce Lee flicks and such classics as Karate Kid abound. For my money, James Hong’s acting outshines Christopher Walken’s. Keep an eye on the blind master’s chopsticks.
