what a deliciously silly movie, although it should have in parentheses somewhere on the poster (for guys only). the girl is a walking pair of tits, the guys are all walking targets except for clive owen, who is a ridiculous bad ass who spews such groaner one-liners it’d make sly blush, and paul giamatti is..well..just kind of there being annoyed with the whole thing.

this was such a disappointment. I admit to have been intrigued by the cover, the actors (I love Clive Owen), the genre and mistakenly thought it was more like a “Sin City” storyline. How wrong I was and what a waste of time.

I can’t believe I actually enjoyed this movie. It is, of course, so unrealistic…and even funny at parts. But I did enjoy watching it :)

If you liked Crank you’ll love this. Best one-star movie EVER.

This movie is so ridiculously bad it’s fun. You’ve got your stereotypical characters mangled this way and that – I mean, a tough guy who kills with …carrots? That’s just one example. I stopped trying to analyse where the movie was going (was it action comedy? a spoof of both genres? there’s a… love story?) after the corniest first five minutes of any movie ever and just sat back and enjoyed myself. Do the same and just watch how awful this movie is, and laugh at all the elements that make it such silly crap.

Shoot ‘Em Up is highly recommended.
