WORTH CONSUMING!

When I first heard about the movie- I thought it’ll either be great or jump the shark. And although Homer jumps alot of things on his motorbike- JAWS ain’t one of them.

This movie did something the TV show hadn’t done it years- make me enjoy the Simpsons again. It was very clever, funny, and nowhere near as sacriligious as TV Guide or Yahoo said it was.

I really loved the marquee that said outside of church, “Thy Shall Turn off Thy Cell Phone” Amen Rev. Lovejoy.

A great thrill ride… I really hope the show takes something from this and becomes better. One way to help- hire A. Brooks as a permanent voice on the Simpsons. That kind of charm, class, and tastelessness hasn’t been seen since Phil Hartman passed away and 3 really great characters were nomore.

On that note, let’s all that a moment of silence before we say-Worth Consuming!

WORTH CONSUMING!

Ditto to junggle’s entry below – it’s pretty much like an 80 minute episode. But a decent episode, not like the crap they’ve been showing these days.

WORTH CONSUMING!

It’s nothing more and nothing less than an 80 minutes Simpsons episode. That means it’s still fun, the characters are still yellow and if you like The Simpsons (like me), you will probably like this as well. But don’t expect more.

It didn't suck! — 4 years ago

WORTH CONSUMING!

Which is good. Because it could have. It was kind of like a real long mediocre episode of The Simpsons. You will laugh a few times, watch it in its entirety, then promptly forget it. But you will always remember that it didn’t totally suck.
