NOT WORTH CONSUMING

This is pretty much what you expect, I hope: a comedy vehicle for Robin Williams to showcase his slapstick funniness as purloined from “Mork and Mindy”, yet as it exploded through “Good Morning Vietnam”. A couple are to marry, but first they have to attend a marriage course where Williams is priest and chief. Hilarity ensues, if you’re into mocking fat people and howling at “natural differences” between men and women. I’m being lenient with the score here.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

I’m a fan of Mandy Moore – she’s not the best actress in the world but you can usually count on her for the cute romantic comedies. And then there is the guy from “The Office” – cute, funny on the series. Too bad this movie totally bombed. Not funny. Didn’t understand why Mandy’s character was so upset about her fiance not having his vows ready (he was trying!). The priest is creepy and stalker-ish. The guy didn’t stand up for himself at all. Totally lame.

NOT WORTH CONSUMING

because when you let him go on a roll he can say some of the funniest things but his sidekick wasn’t funny and the groom to be just comes off looking like a jerk. I think I like the other couples in the course more than anyone else in the movie. It was more creepy than anything else.
