Chuck, computer repairman and one of life’s “could have done so much better” types, finds himself with a brain full of government secrets, thanks to a ‘download’ from his former college-mate and now CIA agent! Suddenly, Chuck is having flashes of all sorts of spy stuff, from spotting bad guys to identifying bombs.

Soon he has a pair of secret agent babysitters, as he struggles to keep hold of his normal life while using the information in his head for what good he can!

The first couple of episodes are quite formulaic – Chuck ‘flashes’ on something, and there’s a mini-mission to save the world – but there are soon other elements, such as a burgeoning romance, various threats on Chuck’s life, and just trying to keep the big secret from his friends and family.

Always charming, pretty funny, and plenty of action. Roll on series 2!
