WORTH CONSUMING!
  • blends well with Bergamot, Cedarwood (all types), Geranium, Lemon, Niaouli, Palma Rosa, Petitgrain, Rosemary and Tea Tree.
  • middle rather than top note, unlike lemon oil. However, lacks the clean clarity of both true Lemon Oil, and the higher Citral oils such as Lemon Myrtle.
  • said to boost the parasympathetic nervous system which hastens recovery from illness
  • stimulating and invigorating. It is helpful for treating symptoms of jet lag, clearing the head and relieving fatigue.

WORTH CONSUMING!

One of my favourites for the oil burner. It’s a very fresh, uplifting smell. Great for ‘deodorising’ a room, if you’re using it as a general air freshener; also a must for me when I’m studying, as the slight sharpness (but less so than just lemon oil) is good for focus and concentration.

I like to mix it with black pepper, which I always find warm and relaxing, for the balance. Or a recent experiment: lemongrass, pine and bergamot – thought the pine would carry on that fresh, outdoors-y alert feel I wanted (for studying!), but when oodles came out of the bottle, I shoved in some bergamot to balance it out without being too ‘alert’. Was really nice.
