Addictive gambling has some VERY bad side effects. Kim Bassinger plays a writer who loses her family. Danny DeVito plays an ex-magician who loses everything. Forest Whittaker plays the brother of a college basketball phenom who loses his integrity (and more). Minor role for Kelsey Grammer as a gimpy detective. Great cast. Pretty good story. Worth a watch, althought the cover misled me into thinking there was a Vegas connection. There is not.
