WORTH CONSUMING!

Mma Ramotswe, Botswana’s only female detective, is back with her usual charm and even more mysteries to solve, both professionally as well as in her personal life. A government official believes his brother is being poisoned, and a beauty pageant official needs help determining which girl is more deserving of winning. What’s more, Mr. J.L.B. Maketoni, Mma Ramotswe’s fiancé, is acting strangely, but her assistant Mma Makutsi proves herself capable in more ways than one.

Wonderful and highly enjoyable. I’ve also heard that the audio renditions of the book are superb.

WORTH CONSUMING!

These books are great when your brain needs a break. They are so easy to read and heartwarming, not something you usually find in the mystery genre.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I enjoy the No. 1 Women’s Detective Agency books because they’re all so mellow that you kind of forget that there’s a mystery going on until the last few chapters when everything comes together. I think it’s a cultural thing.

“Read” this one on audio cd, and it was a wonderful driving book. The flow of the the story and nature of the characters calmed me down while speeding down the highway.
