WORTH CONSUMING!
Cool. Short stories, which mostly worked very well. Anthologies are an interesting thing – there’s usually enough good in them to save a bad work, but rarely enough to make a work truly outstanding. Not here. The stories themselves are almost universally good, and I appreciate how a number of them didn’t feel that Batman had to be the sole character. And even if a particular story didn’t hit a high note, there were such varied drawing styles that the book was always interesting, sometimes arresting.
Worth owning and rereading.
