NOT WORTH CONSUMING
This movie was not totally bad, it’s based on an important subject and I don’t know if I would dissuade someone who was interested from watching it, but personally I would have rather re-watched “Cry Freedom.”
This film was slow and didn’t really grab my attention. I’m not sure if it’s based upon the memoirs of the daughter, but frankly it seemed like that sort of thing; it ends up being mostly a picture about how the daughter reacts to her mother being imprisoned (etc), and she’s not as much sympathetic as kind of annoying.
