I learned some stuff about Waverly Hills so it was excited to see this movie. It was kinda cool that they shot it there with the plot loosey base on history. But mostly it was about a bunch of half naked girls running around and getting killed. The documentary that they did after call Spooked The Ghosts Of Waverly Hills Sanatorium was much higher on my scare factor, (but not too much) Ah well another Saturday night wasted.

I love the history behind this horror, Kentucky hospital built in 1910 with White Plague and all. Check out for the history of the Waverly Hills Sanatorium. BUT if I had a choice, I would wouldn’t watch it. I had to watch this for work and I got restless after the first 10 minutes.

Aesthetics:
The editing is not polished enough to pull off the edgy style it was going for. The nude scenes were not really tasteful.

Story + Acting:
The reputation of the shooting location precede any narrative the movie has. It is just hard to get immersed in any plot, no building up, no emotional attachment to the character.

Well, what do I know… maybe you will be interested in 5 female freshies running around a haunted hospital in lingerie.
