If you call a movie Superman: Doomsday- Doomsday should appear in most of the movie. However, here he’s seen only briefly and doesn’t appear after about the 30 minute mark.
Baldwin does a good job as Superman/ Kent- but I’d rather have Tim Daly or Newbern doing the voice.
Anne Heche is not a good Lois- her voice is more suited for playing Lois Lane in those cartoons of the 40s. She sounds like Katherine Hepburn trying to pitch a story to Spencer Tracy in Adam’s Rib.
And what is up with Luthor’s outfit. It’s a cross between the Lab coat Brainiac used to wear in the 50s and Howard Hughes. While this Luthor is creepy- he’s too campy looking to seem like a threat to Superman. He needs the black power suit he wore in the Animated Series.
I would not reccomend paying money to see this movie. But, it is a fun ride if you can catch it one Cartoon Network for free, like I did!

I got to see this movie at the San Diego Comic Con. It’s just ok. The story does not follow the same plot as the comic book version of the death of Superman. The fight with Doomsday was pretty good, but the rest of the movie was dull. And I hated this version of Lex Luther. I’m a Bruce Timm fan, but this is definitely not his best work.
