I really enjoyed this book. Not only was the mystery plot first rate but as the earlier comment stated the characters are superbly drawn. In addition Atkinson writes here and there with tongue in cheek and gave me a lot of chuckles. A rare combination. I look forward to When Will There Be Good News and will very likely mourn the ending of this trilogy.

This is a great read, fast moving with a cast of fabulous characters and set in the lovely city of Edinburgh. If you enjoyed Case Histories I can recommend this as an update of Jackson Brodies latest exploits!
