I should probably admit that this was my first-ever Bollywood film and as such, quite possibly I am not the most reliable reviewer for it. We went to see it largely because we saw them filming the dance sequence in front of the Louvre when we were there in October 2006 and it looked like fun. And we certainly weren’t disappointed in that! Sure, it’s a little lacking in plotline, but there was enough to hold it together, the music was awesome, the dance routines cool and the costumes amazing. So all round, a great escapist film – just don’t expect it to be any great intellectual treat. Strictly brain-free fun.
