WORTH CONSUMING!
Setting the play in feudal Japan worked surprisingly well with this Shakespeare adaptation. Kenneth Brannagh manages to maintain the essence of the story but make it fresh to modern audiences. Bryce Dallas Howard does a commendable job bringing Rosalind/Ganymede to life. But don’t take my opinion too seriously. I was practically delirious with dehydration when I watched the film!
