Extraordinary piece of work — 1 year ago
NOT WORTH CONSUMING
This is the most detailed historic biography I’ve ever read. Margaret Wigley did an amazing job at her research both in New Zealand as well as in Australia.
I chose to read the book because I hoped to learn more about what is was like to farm in Cheviot district but unfortunately I never got there. I stopped irrregularly reading the book after 3 library renewals because I didn’t want to risk any further fines and lost enthusiasm about the contents.
Clearly though, Mr. Robinson was a man of ambitious vision, with an unequalled ability to make things happen for his time and age.
