A good, suspensful film made all the more intriguing by it’s basis is fact! Chris Cooper’s portrayal of Robert Hanssen, an FBI agent who passed information to the Russians, is masterful and nuanced. Both Ryan Phillipe (as FBI operative Ryan O’Neill) and Laura Linney (as O’Neill’s handler) are excellent. Bonus features on the DVD provide additional information on the Robert Hanssen case and the making of the film.
