WORTH CONSUMING!

Watch this for the cameos, if not for the mediocre humor. The bit with Sasha Cohen is priceless. Nancy Kerrigan, Peggy Fleming, Steve Hamilton, Dorothy Hamil… it’s amazing how many real skaters lent credibility to this. I also enjoyed the special feature on how the celebs were taught to skate. Quite a challenge! Amy Poehler can barely stand on blades, but her hubby Will Arnett made up for it. He’s actually quite good.

WORTH CONSUMING!

i am not a huge will ferrel fan, and i don’t think jon heder is funny at all, so i wasn’t expecting much. what i did find was a semi-funny movie that contained one of the most awkwardly horrible kiss scenes i’ve seen in awhile. it was one of those movies that you can watch distractedly and still not miss much.

WORTH CONSUMING!

Maybe I was overly exhausted or light headed from the new carpet fumes I inhaled all last week at work, but Blades of Glory was the funniest movie I’ve seen in a long time. Nothing about it is particularly brilliant, but I couldn’t stop laughing. Honestly, the movie reduced me to a drooling and crying fool. Maybe I’m an idiot, but I graduated Phi Beta Kappa with numerous awards. So you be the judge. The movie is definitely funny if you’re in the mood for puke jokes.

WORTH CONSUMING!

I watched Blades of Glory last night. And I can’t say it was the most brilliant film I’ve ever seen (or even the funniest), I was entertained for the most part. I don’t think I would buy this movie, but it was definitely worth seeing at least once.
