WORTH CONSUMING!
I have to admit I didn’t start out liking this book at all. It seemed incredibly boring and very difficult to relate to the characters. But as the story took shape, it became hard to put it down. I especially loved the Mother, whose strength and compassion held this family together. She knew better than any of the men what a strain this time in history was on her family, and the importance of keeping family the top priority, no matter what. An amazing ending …
