Shandling is making this for the fans and not just for dvd sales. the interview with alec baldwin is before it’s time and with seinfeld is genius. it is amazing that shandling is so determined to get to the truth and not just a good story. it seems that shandling’s larry sanders was a device for him to learn more about himself and he is not ashamed to talk about that. it’s and amazing dvd for the fans of larry sanders it’s only a pity that’s it’s a mere 28 episodes.
