A Rugged (yet chaste), Alaskan Romance — 6 years ago
I had such high expectations for Midnight Sun. I heaped all my Alaskan fantasies of adventure and beauty onto this novel. Unfortunately, it told a story of rugged romance in a growing Alaskan mining town. I should have rejoiced at the liberated woman doctor who was the heroine. But the man she loved rushed into the arms of his favorite prostitute too many times for my taste. Readers who enjoy rough, western romances may delight in this tale of long-tested love and redemption.
