Undistinguished, for the most part. — 2 years ago

Generally I like stories about immigrants to North America. This one, however, seemed too skimmingly blasé about all the facets of the relationships between three generations of immigrants, about the struggles each group of people faced. Too much story, too few pages, I guess. Nothing’s really stuck with me about it, and that’s a shame. A few vibrant images could have saved it, I think.
