A lot of fun as a one-time rental, but I can’t see buying it.

She really likes this game, which isnt that unusual, i mean she loves to cook IRL. (ive been waiting to use that acronym for some time now.) but she’s just never really been into video games at all, and shes asking ME to play with her. she has even fired up the wii at home by herself and played it. i love it.

aside from that lovely bonding experience, this is a fun little game, with pretty good replay value. yea, you go through and get all the little gold hats by basically figuring out what it wants you to do on each step, which took quite some time for some of them. this is a complaint, as where some of the steps are incredibly easy, and some unnecessarily hard. but its just that much more of a challenge. i do look forward to the supposed online capabilities of the next version.
