I stumbled across this CD by chance on iTunes and I have to say that I love this album. I can’t speak a word of Portuguese, but the music and her voice really speak and transcend the language barrier. So good.

Take some jazz. Add some funky and bluesy beats. Throw in some hip-hop scratches and electronic blips. Drop a light, airy, yet soulful voice singing in Brazilian Portuguese on top. That’s Ceu in a nutshell.
